2. Terms & Conditions

Quotes Provided as Estimates Only

All quotes are estimates based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Roof plumbing work often involves concealed areas. If hidden defects or additional issues are discovered, variations and extra costs will be discussed before work continues.

Scope of Work

Quotes apply only to the items listed. Any additional work requested or required due to site conditions will be charged as a variation.

Quotes & Fees

  • A quote and site inspection fee applies to all quotes.

  • If the quote is accepted, the fee is credited to the final invoice.

  • If the quote is declined or no response is received within 14 days, the fee is invoiced and payable.

Access & Safety

Work will only proceed if safe roof access is available. Unsafe or restricted access may incur delays or additional charges.

Weather Conditions

Roof plumbing is weather‑dependent. Scheduling may change due to unsafe conditions.

Materials & Availability

Material prices and availability may change. Customers will be notified before work continues.

Warranty & Liability

  • A Compliance Certificate and 6‑year workmanship guarantee are issued once full payment is received.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials.

  • Warranty does not cover pre‑existing issues, storm damage, lack of maintenance, or failures in installations not completed by Vugs Plumbing.

 

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Quote Fees

Quote fees are non‑refundable. If the quote is accepted, the fee is credited to the final invoice.

Cancellations Before Work Begins

If materials have been ordered, the customer may be charged for:

  • Special‑order items

  • Restocking fees

  • Labour or travel already completed

Cancellations After Work Has Started

Labour completed and materials used will be invoiced in full.

Refunds

Refunds are only provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

 

4. Service Area Disclaimer

Vugs Plumbing provides licensed roof plumbing services across Gippsland and surrounding areas, including Longwarry, Drouin, Warragul, Garfield, Bunyip, Trafalgar, Yarragon, and nearby rural areas.

Service availability may vary depending on:

  • Travel distance

  • Job type

  • Scheduling

  • Weather conditions

Additional travel fees may apply outside standard service areas.

 

5. Unpaid Invoices – What Can Happen

If an invoice remains unpaid:

  • Additional fees or interest may be applied

  • Work may be paused or cancelled

  • Materials remain the property of Vugs Plumbing until paid in full

  • Debt recovery action may be taken

  • Compliance Certificates will not be issued until payment is received

This protects both parties and ensures compliance with Victorian plumbing regulations.
